About Connect Outfitters

An avid angler for more than three decades, Erin treasures every moment in the great outdoors and can often be found behind the camera lens when she’s not on the water.

Beyond fishing, she is an accomplished ultramarathoner who has completed grueling 50-, 60-, and 100-mile races, including the prestigious Western States 100.

Erin’s craftsmanship is also deeply rooted in the business; she helped construct our first boat—a 12-foot Rapid Robert—in 2012, and has since played a vital role in building two additional watercraft, including our 23-foot dory, Vision.

I’ve grown up in Pacific Northwest and the rivers and ocean have always been a big part of my life. The fascination with water, boats and fishing started at a very young age for me and I can’t remember a time that I didn’t pass by any body of water without wanting to explore it from a boat, or imagine what might lie beneath the surface. It’s with this same passion that I created Connect Outfitters, and I look forward to sharing the waters of the Pacific Northwest with you.

A day of fishing is more than just catching that next great fish. It’s about creating experiences that connect us to one another, to nature and everything around us. Pulling from our experience we’re focused on ensuring your day is filled with unique experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

Our primary focus is on the Oregon Coast, where we specialize in saltwater fly fishing for a large variety of species including salmon, rock fish and ling cod from May through September. I use two hand rods the rest of the year, swinging for Summer Steelhead on the Rogue October through November and chase Winter Steelhead on the North Oregon Coast January through March.
